About Us

Kathryn completed her undergrad degree from MSU in 2007, completed her MBA in 2009 and then completed her Dietetic Internship (to sit for the RD exam) through UofM School of Public Health in 2010 with a completion date of Jan. 2011. In 2021 Kathryn will have 10 years of experience working as an official Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Her experience in the field spans from the wellness setting (of health clubs), corporate wellness (ex: Herman Miller/McCahill Group (Amway, WN&J, The Rapid, Farmers Insurance, etc.), clinical and food service management.  Kathryn currently is in the wellness sector. She is board member for Dietitians of West MI and also a Dietetic Intern Preceptor. She is very passionate about nutrition, women's health, free fatty acid metabolism, macros and macro cycling, weight management and weight loss and truly helping individuals achieve their goals and feeling confident in their own skin.

Additionally, Kathryn has an extensive background in fitness as well.  She was certified and taught group ex classes (primarily yoga, yogalates, spin, and HIIT/Bootcamp style classes) at Norton Pines starting in 2008, the Omni, Herman Miller, Amway and most recently Family Fitness.  She started running in college to stay in shape (she did competitive dance in high school), but it was not until 2010 that she really started running more frequently and began training for triathlons and longer road races such half and full marathons. Currently, Kathryn continues to run and enjoys the social aspect of it as well as the cardiovascular benefits as well.  Along with running Kathryn attends Crossfit regularly at Spring Lake CrossFit for cross training and weight training to round out her exercise regimen.
